What is chiropractic

Chiropractic is a form of medical treatment in which manual adjustments are used to release blockages in the spine and joints. It is often used as an alternative or supplement to drug or surgical therapies for musculoskeletal complaints. In newborns and children, the main focus of treatment is on optimal motor and neurological development and prevention. Because manipulation directly affects the nervous system, it can achieve not only optimal function of the spine but also optimal performance of the nervous system.

When to see a chiropractor

Chiropractic is suitable for a wide variety of problems affecting the spine and musculoskeletal system. At our practice, we also place great emphasis on prevention so that acute complaints do not arise in the first place. Who pays for treatment

Chiropractic treatment is covered by basic health insurance. The same applies to accident, military, or disability insurance. This means you do not need additional insurance or a referral from your family doctor.

Exceptions are insurance models where you always have to contact your family doctor or insurance company first.
