Budget- und Schuldenberatung Aargau - Solothurn

We are a non-profit budget and debt counselling service with many years of experience. We work in accordance with the principles of the Swiss Umbrella Association for Debt Counselling and are a certified member of Budget Advice Switzerland.

Information
• On our website you will find information on how to create a budget, debt traps, tips on dealing with money, guidance on risk assessment for leasing and loans, as well as fact sheets and sample templates.
• Through the freephone number 0800 708 708, we answer questions on the topic of debt from Monday to Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
• We advise social workers and organise specialist courses.
• We offer information events for those affected and for interested parties.

Prevention
Our prevention projects are aimed at various target groups and promote a competent approach to money among young people and adults.
• We organise parents’ evenings on dealing with money and debt prevention for schools of all levels, parent associations and other interested groups.
• We offer level-specific counselling and training for teachers, school social workers and other caregivers of children and young people, and produce informational and basic materials.
• For other target groups, we develop tailor-made projects.

Counselling
We support you in developing and implementing solutions appropriate to your situation and guarantee absolute discretion.

At our counselling centre, we support you with
• advice on dealing with money and debt.
• budgeting and expense planning.
• preparing a list of debts.
• clarifying debts and financial capacity.
• debt restructuring, personal bankruptcy or living with debt.
• questions regarding your rights and obligations towards creditors and the debt enforcement office.
• debt-related problems at the workplace, in relationships, family, etc.
• asserting legal claims.
• referral to further support services, including our social counselling.
