Private & Business Removals

Waldis is a medium-sized furniture transport company in its third generation and has been based in Basel (Allschwil) for over 60 years. The company has a large fleet of vehicles. All furniture vehicles are upholstered and always equipped with clean wool blankets.
Our fleet is supplemented by 1 furniture lift, 1 electric lift, boat trailers, and car transport trailers, so that all transports, small and large orders can be carried out to your complete satisfaction.

Private moves

Apartment moves of any size, no problem, anything is possible. Disassembly/reassembly by our carpenters and furniture fitters. Packing, packing materials, disposal, and storage options in our furniture warehouse. Contact us to make an appointment for a free moving consultation.

Business moves

Car and boat transport

Moving process: Switzerland / Europe

You can pack for the move yourself or have our professional packers do it for you. For insurance reasons, we recommend that you have glass and ceramics packed by professionals. Books, linen, crockery, crystal, and other items are packed in special boxes. We deliver the boxes in advance, or you can purchase them at a lower price from our moving shop. On moving day, we will bring clothing boxes for your clothes, in quantities as required. Mattresses will be packed in plastic covers for transport. Disassembly and reassembly will be carried out by our carpenter or furniture fitters. If a piece of furniture needs to be modified, we can do this in our in-house carpentry workshop. The remaining furniture will then be wrapped in clean woolen blankets and stowed in the furniture van. After loading the furniture van, the moving crew will take a 15-minute break before continuing on to your new home. The furniture van will be unloaded and the goods placed according to your wishes. The furniture will be assembled and the clothes hung up. You will then take a tour and check that everything is in the right place. If you are satisfied, you can dismiss the removal staff with a small tip and recommend us to others. Thank you
