The daycare center should provide a space where children feel comfortable and can develop. Children should be able to perceive their own individuality. With meaningful rules and boundaries that are adapted to the developmental needs of children, we provide space for childlike emotionality. We laugh, sing, and talk to each other a lot.

We have 650 m² of play area around the building. We spend time outside every day. On our extended excursions to the nearby forest, to the shops, and to many other places in the surrounding area, we offer children the opportunity to encounter nature and their environment in a variety of ways. It is important to us that children have a wide range of experiences, try things out, and discover new things while accompanied by adults.

The settling-in period for the children is an important phase, for which parents should reserve 2-3 weeks. It takes time for the children to settle into their new environment and for the children, parents, and care team to get to know each other and build trust. The settling-in information sheet documents and accompanies this process.

Each of the three groups of children has a floor with several rooms at their disposal. The rooms are used by all groups. The children find a prepared environment that invites them to experiment, explore, and discover. The indoor climate of our rooms is adapted to the needs of the children, especially in the summer months, and air-conditioned accordingly.

A good culture of communication is important for our harmonious togetherness. We convey the joy of communication to the children by actively listening, telling stories, and singing together. For children who cannot yet speak, we pay close attention to their nonverbal communication through careful observation.

Autumn and winter activities
Regular sports activities take place at the Mythenand daycare center. During the winter months, the group of children spends an afternoon in the gym, where they can get to know lots of new equipment. Jumping – sliding – doing somersaults – sleeping – swinging – bouncing – hopping – rolling – climbing – catching – balancing.

Spring and summer activities
The 10-part course teaches the joy of singing and rhythm, based on each child's enthusiasm. We practice dialect songs, finger rhymes, and short poems, either outdoors in nature or in our studio.
