Although we call ourselves a "practice," we have a great deal of specialist knowledge and technical equipment that is usually only found in larger clinics. As we are a small team (two small animal veterinarians, three veterinary assistants, and one trainee), we know our patients well. During general consultation hours for dogs, cats, and pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and degus, we also treat turtles.We are an innovative and very personal veterinary practice that cares about the well-being, general health, and quality of life of your pet and can provide you, as the pet owner, with comprehensive advice in the spirit of a health manager. We also provide pet owners with expert advice on diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans.

We are particularly well equipped in our areas of specialization:

• Eye diseases ( fundus camera, slit lamp, tonometry)
• Skin diseases: dermatology and allergology, cold plasma therapy
• Heart diseases (cardiology with ECG and ultrasound)
• Internal medicine with our own modern laboratory
• Surgery (general surgery, orthopedic surgery)
• Orthopedics (limping, lameness, and back pain, pain therapy)
• Orthopedic therapies: cold plasma and high-frequency electrotherapy, shock wave therapy, and ZRT Extrazell matrix therapy
• Radiology: Digital X-ray and ultrasound
• Dentist, dental clinic (dental hygiene, dental treatment, and jaw surgery)

Although we can perform many special examinations if necessary, we always keep the patient and their overall quality of life in mind and seek to engage in dialogue with the owners in order to find the most suitable treatment for each individual animal.

Once the diagnosis has been made, we offer various treatment options in addition to all modern medications: A diet is often necessary, and we have a wide range of diet foods with first-class products without artificial preservatives and colorants. We offer diet foods from Hill's, Royal Canin, and Vet-Concept. Treatments such as cold plasma and high-frequency electrotherapy, shock waves, or ZRT Extrazell Matrix Therapy are also available as alternative forms of pain therapy for joint and muscle pain.

Of course, we also carry out general care measures such as ultrasonic tartar removal and coat care. If a patient has to stay with us for a few days, we try to make it as comfortable as possible for the animal. However, the stay should be as short as necessary, because nothing beats being at home!

Conveniently located on the main road in the center of Altendorf on Lake Zurich, the practice is easy to find. Our customer parking spaces are located directly in front of the entrance. We are also easy to reach by public transport: the Altendorf Stoglen bus stop is right in front of the building and the Altendorf S-Bahn station is only 200 meters away.

Consultations are by appointment only, so that waiting times are kept to a minimum.
