At the beginning of 2022, we renovated our entire store in Appenzell. We were able to expand our premises and can now offer all our services on one floor.
We look forward to welcoming you to our fresh, cheerful premises.

In December 2019, we opened our second branch in Herisau.

At the end of July 2015, Frowin Mazenauer handed over the business to his long-standing employee Simona Köppel. She continues to run the business as the new managing director.

Engel Optik GmbH was founded in 2010.

We have been successfully training apprentices since 1994. All of them passed their final exams as opticians with flying colors.

In December 1980, Frowin Mazenauer opened Engel Optik in his parents' house on Engelgasse.
