Breu Diamantwerkzeug GmbH is a company with its headquarters and production site in Arbon, as well as a subsidiary - Breu do Brasil Ltda - in Indaiatuba/SP (Brazil).

In 1996, Rudolf Breu († 2014) founded Breu Diamantwerkzeuge GmbH from the sole proprietorship RBD Diamantwerkzeuge, which started production in 1994 and manufactured high-quality diamond and CBN tools. Since the company started in 1996 with four employees, the family business has developed steadily. In January 2002, production began in the newly constructed company building in Arbon CH.

In 2007, the decision was made to set up another production site in Brazil. Breu do Brasil Ltda. started production in November 2008. Due to rapid sales growth and good prospects for the future, the decision was made to expand and relocate. The move to a newly constructed company building took place in 2015.
