Breu Diamantwerkzeug GmbH is a company based and with production facilities in Arbon, Switzerland, and a subsidiary – Breu do Brasil Ltda. – in Indaiatuba/SP (Brazil).

Rudolf Breu († 2014) founded Breu Diamantwerkzeuge GmbH in 1996, based on the sole proprietorship RBD Diamantwerkzeuge, which began production in 1994 and manufactured high-quality diamond and CBN tools. Since the company started in 1996 with four employees, the family business has grown steadily. In January 2002, production began in the newly constructed company building in Arbon, Switzerland.

In 2007, the decision was made to establish another production site in Brazil. Breu do Brasil Ltda. began production in November 2008. Due to rapid sales growth and good prospects for the future, the decision was made to expand and relocate. In 2015, the company moved into a newly constructed company building.
