Founded in 1958 by Louis Lachat Senior, LACHAT SA operates open-pit limestone quarries and produces aggregates to supply its hydraulic concrete plants and coating stations.

The company has been run by three generations before being taken over by Famsa SA in 2013. Its head office is located in Asuel (JU).

LACHAT SA employs around 20 people and has a large fleet of modern machinery and state-of-the-art facilities.

Activities
LACHAT SA's main activities are:

• the manufacture of ready-to-use hydraulic concrete (fixed or mobile plant)
• the manufacture of asphalt concrete (bituminous mix)
• the operation of several quarries and landfills
• blasting, crushing, and screening of materials for third parties
• importing and trading stone materials (siliceous gravel, SBB ballast, quartz sand, etc.)
• the rental of construction machinery

At the same time, the company operates a repair shop and a metalworking shop, which gives it a certain degree of autonomy.

Through these various activities, LACHAT SA has built up a strong track record and is recognized for the quality of its work.
