Company history

When Roman Estermann Senior founded his painting business in Au in 1949, he still used to travel to his customers by bicycle and trailer.

Roman Estermann Junior completed his painting apprenticeship in his father's business. After his apprenticeship and years of traveling, he took over the business on Alte Landstrasse in Au in 1974. The Estermann painting business has built up a satisfied customer base. Numerous apprentices have also been trained as painters, including Andrea, the daughter of Roman Estermann Jr.

Long-time foreman Markus Volkart and Andrea Estermann took over the painting business in January 2009 and founded Maler Estermann GmbH.
