We, the physiotherapy staff at Schiffländi, originally come from the field of sports and are therefore very familiar with injuries to the musculoskeletal system. Combined with our many years of professional experience in private practices and geriatric rehabilitation, we help patients regain their former level of activity in their everyday lives at home, as well as in sports and leisure activities, followed by prevention of any subsequent injuries.

Physiotherapy

Using a wide variety of treatment techniques, physical limitations are addressed and associated pain is reduced.

Based on anatomical expertise and experience, the therapist analyzes and tests the patient and identifies the imbalance between these individual systems. Temporomandibular joint treatment

Does it hurt when you open or close your mouth, is chewing painful, or is the tension in your cheeks simply very uncomfortable? Many people suffer from jaw pain, and physical therapy can help.

Manual therapy

Manual testing of the joint using evidence-based methods allows the relevant joint to be diagnosed and treated appropriately.

Dry needling

Similar to acupuncture, this treatment method uses small, fine needles, but instead of targeting the meridian, it locates and treats the pain point directly in the muscle.

Fascial distortion model

Developed by osteopaths to provide rapid relief for pain or restricted movement, the fascial distortion model allows for quick analysis and selection of the correct treatment.

Kinesiotaping

With the appropriate application, the tape can be applied to stabilize or relieve pressure in order to give the various skin layers and muscle groups the correct pre-tension. This supports the healing process and reduces the risk of injury.

Gait analysis

With the appropriate application, the tape can be applied to stabilize or relieve pressure in order to provide the correct pre-tension to the various skin layers and muscle groups. This supports the healing process and reduces the risk of injury.

Classic massage

Pain-relieving and soothing, classic massage provides quick relief for acute and chronic muscle pain.

Lymphatic drainage

Whether after surgery, accidents, or chronic swelling, compression and bandages, and especially manual lymphatic drainage, can reduce lymphatic problems (edema) and the complications associated with them.

Regeneration & sports massage

Whether in preparation for an upcoming strain or as follow-up care, sports massage can be useful in both cases.

Training

We expect to offer personal training and MTT from 2021.
