BAU-TOP was founded in 1990 as a sole proprietorship in Kloten by Jürg Egger. He made his expertise and experience available to customers as a certified architect FH/STV, federally certified master builder, and real estate appraiser with a federal certificate. As the long-standing managing director of a broadly diversified construction company and two renowned general contractors in the Zurich region, he provided services in construction consulting, client representation, and project management with cost control, partly with partners, in the early years. In addition, he carried out assignments for the promotion of undeveloped land and the project planning, design, and realization of conversions and residential buildings.
