An experienced family business

For over 35 years, we have been offering pets a loving temporary home here in Belp. Our holiday guests include cats, dogs, rodents, and birds.

We offer plenty of space and exercise for your pet on our 10,000 m² property. We keep our green outdoor area and indoor facilities clean at all times so that the animals feel comfortable and do not transmit any diseases.

 

Experienced animal keepers with heart

In 1977, Jakob Bornhauser's parents founded the Fahrhubel animal boarding facility in Belp in the canton of Bern. In 2002 , trained animal caretakers Jakob Bornhauser and his wife Edith Riesen took over the animal boarding facility.

Our eight employees clean and feed the animals and play with them. We also work with a dog groomer, who we can call in on request.

Is this your pet's first time going on vacation? We provide individual and loving care for your beloved pet, so that it has no time to feel homesick. We have many regular customers who regularly board their pets with us. For us, personal care also means that we discuss your pet's medical history, behavior, characteristics, and feeding requirements with you. If your pet needs medication, we administer it according to your instructions. In an emergency, we work with the local veterinarian.
