The Schwellenmätteli Restaurants are situated in a unique location directly on the river Aare, nestled between water and forest, offering an unobstructed view of Bern's Old Town and the Minster. The complex includes the Restaurant Terrasse, whose pavilion almost floats above the water and serves Mediterranean fish dishes, as well as the cozy Güggeli-Beiz (located in the historic half-timbered building, formerly known as Ristorante Casa), which specializes in chicken delicacies.
