Job description
You ensure that cars look like new again after body damage caused by accidents or hail. You are the dent doctor. You play a central role in planning and implementing a repair strategy, taking customer wishes into account. You restore deformed parts to their original condition. You replace irreparable body parts with new ones and fit them precisely.
Requirements
Strong manual skills, good technical understanding, sense of form, spatial awareness, strong academic performance in mathematics and geometry, precise working methods, independence, reliability, ability to work in a team, and sense of responsibility.
Previous training
Completed secondary level 1, at least intermediate level
Taster course with aptitude test
Duration of training
4 years
You will master the working techniques used in shaping steel and aluminum sheets. You will also learn how to work with modern materials such as plastics, carbon, etc.
Vehicle electrics/electronics play a central role in your daily work.

Job description
You manufacture a wide variety of superstructures according to plan. This transforms a bare chassis into a fire truck, a semi-truck, a crane truck, or a coach. You are the type of person who likes to do things your own way. Every customer request and therefore every new build is different. You will manufacture special superstructures and trailers for passenger, commercial, and special-purpose vehicles. You will convert them, install accessories, and carry out repair and maintenance work.
Requirements
Strong manual skills, spatial awareness, good technical understanding, sense of form, strong academic performance in mathematics, geometry, and technical drawing, precise working methods, good physical condition, independence, reliability, ability to work in a team

Duration of training
4 years
You will master the basic techniques of metal and plastics processing. This includes the forming of steel and aluminum sheets/profiles, joining techniques, screwing, welding, and gluing. Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is also required.
