Podologie Roxana Siegrist

After three years of training as a podiatrist (federal certificate of proficiency), I completed my apprenticeship in 2009 and initially worked at Kohler Orthopädie-Podologie GmbH in Bern until I became self-employed in 2013.

I place particular emphasis on annual continuing education, such as the diabetes seminar. Among other things, my membership in the Swiss Podiatry Association (SPV) makes this possible.

Detailed customer documentation is also important to me. Thanks to my detailed notes on each of my customers, queries are rarely necessary and treatments can be followed up therapeutically.

I love my work very much and help my clients with their pain. I am happy when they leave my practice feeling good after their treatment.

I also appreciate the daily contact with my clients, which is supported by my open and communicative nature. This is a wonderful change from being a mother of two girls.

 

 

What I offer

I use gentle, careful, and medical treatments to remove corns, ingrown toenails, pressure points, and calluses—so you can walk without pain.

Treatment procedure

After a pleasant foot bath, the first step is nail treatment (trimming the nails, removing pressure points and/or corns, etc.), followed by callus removal. Finally, foot cream is applied and massaged in. At your request, I can also beautify your toes with a coat of nail polish.

Partial nail prosthetics

The torn or even partially missing nail is repaired.

Orthotics

A custom-made silicone wedge or toe stretcher that compensates for the misalignment of a toe and prevents the resulting pressure points and/or corns.

Orthonyxia (brace technique)

The glass fiber-reinforced B/S brace is glued on to treat ingrown nails. Its tensile force therapeutically corrects the nail as it grows.
