Abarcas Menoquinas are the traditional shoes of the rural population of Menorca. Originally, they were made from the leather of animals kept in the countryside. After cars arrived on the island, soles made from used car tires were added – perfect recycling, sustainable and practical!

Today, abarcas are comfortable, lightweight, and sturdy summer shoes available in many colors and materials. They are still made in Menorca using traditional methods.

You can try on and buy the shoes at our travel agency. They are available for children and adults and cost between 39 and 59 Swiss francs. As a customer of our travel agency, you will receive a 10% discount on all models.
