Transparency is important to us

Openness and honesty are essential for the success of orthodontic treatment. Only when the patient, parents, and I as the practitioner are all pulling in the same direction can we achieve our common goals.

For this reason, consultation and open discussion with all parties involved are the be-all and end-all of any treatment.

Treatment process

• First appointment: Clarification of needs and wishes, brief orientation about therapeutic options and the costs of tooth correction, initial photo documentation if necessary
• Second appointment: Preparation of diagnostic documents (X-rays, models, photos) and planning
• Third appointment: Discussion of therapeutic options and final offer

Since no two patients are alike and therefore not everything can be planned 100%, each check-up appointment involves questioning whether the treatment is progressing as intended. This depends on factors such as the patient's cooperation, their individual reaction to the treatment, and, last but not least, their oral hygiene. In some cases, the plan may therefore need to be adjusted to the course of treatment.

 

The duration of orthodontic treatment varies greatly and can be up to three years, rarely longer. The costs vary and depend on the complexity and difficulty of the procedures.
