About us

Kurt & Ursula Mischler Upholstery Workshop

Our upholstery workshop in Biel has been in existence since 1978 and is run by Kurt Mischler. He is the founder and owner of the business and is regularly supported in his work by his wife Ursula. After Kurt Mischler completed his training as an interior decorator, it wasn't long before he started his own business and founded the upholstery workshop at the age of 28. He has been running the business ever since and can look back on a long and instructive period that has given him all the more professional experience.

Traditional craftsmanship

One of our specialties is traditional upholstery, which requires a great deal of experience and skilled craftsmanship. We are one of the few remaining upholstery workshops that carries out high-quality upholstery work in the traditional manner. We respond to our customers' ideas in a very specific and individual way and leave hardly any wish unfulfilled. In addition to traditional work, we also offer modern and contemporary designs.

We offer a wide selection of all kinds of upholstery fabrics. We would be happy to advise you according to your ideas and show you our latest upholstery fabrics. Our customers are almost exclusively private individuals, whom we are happy to serve in our studio or, on request, at their homes. All of our furniture is unique—no two pieces are alike. In addition, we guarantee our customers the highest quality and a long product life.
