SimplyYou. For a better quality of life
Occupational therapy is a holistic, medical-therapeutic approach.
Occupational therapy is based on the assumption that action is a basic human need. The focus is on the individual and their physical (sensory-motor), mental (perceptual-cognitive), and psychological (socio-emotional) abilities. Through their actions, individuals interact with their environment.
Occupational therapy supports the attainment or maintenance of the greatest possible age-appropriate independence and ability to act in everyday private and school life. At the same time, it aims to counteract illness or disability and prevent further damage.
