Depending on the exams already completed, not all of the certificates and courses mentioned here are necessary for additional categories.

1. First aid course:

Anyone applying for a learner's permit in categories A, A1, B, or B1 must provide evidence that they have completed a course in life-saving first aid (first aid course). The course must be taken at a recognized organization and must not be more than 6 years old.

1. Fill out the form completely and answer all questions

2. Have an eye test carried out at an optician's. The result is entered directly on the application form. Eye tests must not be more than 24 months old.

3. Two color passport photos are required for registration.

4. The residents' registration office in your place of residence must confirm your identity when you submit your application for the first time.

3. Theory test

Once you have been admitted to the theory test, you are entitled to take the theory test. (This does not count as a learner's permit). To prepare for the theory test, I recommend the free website www.boegele.ch or a learning CD. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me.

4. Learner's permit

After passing the theory test and reaching the minimum age, you will receive your learner's permit by mail. (Confirmation of passing the test does not count as a learner's permit. Only when you are in possession of the learner's permit are you allowed on the road. Remember: the passenger must be at least 23 years old and have held a driver's license for at least 3 years).

5. Traffic theory

You must have completed the VKU lessons by the time you register for the practical test at the latest.

6. Practical driving test

I will register you for the practical test at the traffic office once you have completed your training.

7. Driver's license

After passing the driving test, you will receive your driver's license directly from the traffic office upon payment.
