Since 1902, ewb (Elektrizitäts- und Wasserwerk der Stadt Buchs) has been reliably supplying the Buchs region with electricity, water, and modern communication solutions. With over 120 employees, including 15 apprentices, we stand for innovation and local ties. From electrical installations and IT services to our own shop, we offer comprehensive service from a single source, ensuring daily comfort and the future of the region.

Our main tasks

• Construction, further development, operation, and maintenance of the infrastructure necessary to provide water, electricity, and ITC supplies and the services required for this.

• Construction and maintenance of the source and pumping stations and the hydrant pipe network for the water supply.

• Supplying the urban population with electrical energy.

• Construction and operation of street lighting in Buchs.

• Operation and maintenance of cable TV and fiber optic networks for the transmission of radio/TV/internet/telephony signals, support for the IT systems of the city administration, elementary schools, and other companies.
