Adrian Lüscher took over the company in 2009. As the son of a farming family, he learned the trade and livestock business early on in his parents' company (Bernhard Lüscher AG).

Since then, Adrian Lüscher has been managing the fortunes of Sila AG, mostly behind the scenes, but always with a great deal of passion and a clear philosophy and vision. Adrian Lüscher's father was already doing pioneering work when he founded the Swiss halal market together with his business partners at the time, Günes and Aymez. The vision of producing high-quality halal meat in accordance with Swiss legislation gave rise to a business model whose success continues to this day.

As Switzerland's first halal-certified slaughterhouse, Sila AG now produces a diverse range of high-quality and popular products with its interdisciplinary team of 15 specialists. Today, Sila AG offers its customers meat that is slaughtered in accordance with Islamic halal principles and animal welfare standards.
