The metal construction sector is constantly evolving.

In order to ensure competent and high-level knowledge management, synonymous with future success, four Fribourg-based companies founded the École du Métal in 2005: CMA Constructeurs Métalliques Associés, Morand Constructions Métalliques, Progin SA Métal, and Sottas.

Since then, the school's mission has been to supervise and train apprentices in the metal construction trade.

Building on this experience, the founding companies, in partnership with Metaltec Romandie, are creating a training program for metal design and construction drafters in 2021.

OUR MISSION

Our school aims not only to train apprentices, but also to effectively mentor the professionals of tomorrow.

The full-time training manager for each program provides solid basic knowledge combining practical and theoretical aspects of the industry during the first year at the school. This enables apprentices to acquire the autonomy they need to join their company in their second year.

This curriculum emphasizes learning the "right moves" and also facilitates the transition from compulsory schooling to the professional world.
