The "Scuola di Musica Collina d'Oro" association is a growing private music school in the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland, with locations in Montagnola, Pazzallo, Cadempino, Savosa, and Stabio. Lessons can also be held at your home and online. Courses are open to all ages and levels for students interested in classical
and modern music. You can enroll in your chosen course at any time of the year.

Our team of teachers is carefully selected for our demanding clients. They have extensive experience gained in various institutions, love children, and have also worked with adult students. They will prepare personalized and unique learning materials for each student, based on their interests, talents, age, abilities, and goals. • Classical & Modern Music

We also teach classical and modern music, so children have a choice. However, many children today have the misconception that studying music is boring because classical music is boring to them. But what they often don't realize and don't know is that they can actually learn any style of music, not just classical. And over time, their tastes will often change again. We must accept their preferences and their current musical taste. But that doesn't mean that the general idea of studying instrumental music should be abandoned. We just need to find the best unique learning program for your children. We have teachers who can teach in different musical styles, such as pop, rock, jazz, and Latin. However, learning a musical instrument will develop your children's brains—motor skills, concentration, logic, reading, multi-tasking, etc.—in a very significant way, so they will have advantages in any case over children who are not studying instrumental music, regardless of the musical style they prefer. • Online Lessons | Live

Given the demand and the COVID crisis, we have launched our music education services online. Now you can study your favorite musical instrument comfortably and safely from home. All you need is a device connected to the internet and an application for video calls. In our ONLINE Courses menu, you can check the list of musical instruments currently offered and the availability of our teachers. You will also find a link to calculate time zone differences if you live in another country.

• Adult Students | Senior Citizens

We would also like to encourage adults to participate and enroll in our courses. We use material specifically developed for adult and senior students. It often happens that someone studies music as a child, then for some reason gives it up and stops. But when they become an adult and settle down, they regret having stopped years ago and want to start again. On the other hand, there are people who have always wanted to learn to play a musical instrument but have not had the opportunity or the time to do so.

In addition to our main activity as a music school, we have additional services for our customers who want to maximize their music learning experience. Take a look at the Services menu and you may find something interesting to complement your music program: live music, professional recording of our students' performances, music production, professional mixing and mastering, custom music composition services, etc.

• Musical Instruments | Best Price

The Music School offers a free consultation service for customers who want to buy musical instruments but don't know where or which model to choose. We always know the best prices and the best options for choosing the right instrument for your children. We can help you plan your regular or summer lessons in advance, choosing the right contract or package for your needs, giving you more flexibility and freedom.

• Program | Flexible

You can choose between lessons lasting 30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes, as well as the number of lessons per week: 1, 2, or 3. The cost table for each solution can be found on our "Documents" page. We always try to accommodate your availability and family logistics. However, the school administration has a difficult task in synchronizing room availability, teacher availability, and, of course, customer availability. By contacting the administration in August or early September, you will have a better chance of finding your desired times/days.

• Teaching Materials | Personalized

Your teacher will personalize the study material to achieve your professional or personal goals. Whether you want to become a professional musician or just have fun learning your favorite songs. Communication is the key to a successful collaboration between the school and the student, so be sure to communicate all your musical desires.

• Options | Language

• Concerts | For Students

Our music school regularly organizes concerts for students at the end of each semester. This is a great opportunity for students to showcase their skills in front of an audience, playing the pieces they have learned during their lessons. Meanwhile, for parents, it is the perfect opportunity to update their family albums with new photos/videos, preserving these beautiful and magical moments for the future.

• Summer Lessons

For students, summer is a time for fun, games, and relaxation, but unfortunately, it is also the time of year when they practice much less. To provide continuity, the music school offers customizable packages for the summer period. The dates of these lessons can be agreed upon directly with your teacher. Families are free to choose the duration and number of lessons included in the package. These summer lessons are mainly intended to minimize the inevitable loss of instrumental knowledge already acquired, to study a specific problem in greater depth (technique, reading, etc.), for which there is never enough time during the school year, or simply to have fun learning your favorite songs.

• Trial Lesson

You can try our courses for free by booking a trial lesson. During the trial lesson, you will have the opportunity to discuss all the details directly with your music teacher, such as methods, musical styles, teaching materials, instruments, and available days/times, in order to find the best possible solutions for your learning path.
