Occupational therapy at home
Over the past 14 years, I have gained experience in various fields (physical medicine, neurology, rheumatology, orthopedics, psycho-geriatrics, adult psychiatry) in acute care, treatment and rehabilitation centers (3-4 years), palliative care (3 years), and home care (10 years), which allows me to be flexible in my approach to patient care.
I obtained my bachelor's degree in occupational therapy in Brussels in 2006, accredited by the Swiss Red Cross in Bern, and have gained all my professional experience in Switzerland.
Since then, I have built up a reputation by offering my services honestly to those who call on me.
Although I provide general care (rehabilitation, environmental adaptation, back education, etc.), my preferences are mental health, palliative care, and home care.
>> But what is occupational therapy? <<
According to the WHO (World Health Organization), "An occupational therapist is a health professional who bases their practice on the link between human activity and health. They work with individuals or groups of people in medical, social, educational, and professional settings."
I am an experienced occupational therapist offering a wide range of professional services to meet your needs and requirements.
I believe in prioritizing my clients and listening to their needs. In addition, to provide comprehensive, high-quality care, I work in partnership with other independent colleagues (nurses, occupational therapists, doctors, psychologists, etc.).
