The practice has six microscopes, Leica 150MR and Leica F12 models.

The microscope was introduced over 10 years ago.
Significantly more effective than any type of magnifying glass we have tried, we can no longer imagine working without it.

TREATMENT UNDER GENERAL ANESTHESIA AT THE PRACTICE:

Since June 2012, we have been working with an external general anesthesiology company (www.narkose.ch), which comes to our premises to perform anesthesia. We perform two to three procedures per month. Patients are selected based on the severity of the procedure and the risk of complications related to their general health. Patients who require hospital follow-up are not selected.

Patients arrive on an empty stomach on the day of the procedure and leave accompanied by someone else approximately 45 minutes after the procedure is complete.

The main indications are major oral surgery procedures and cleaning procedures for phobic patients or young children who are uncooperative.

My colleague, Dr. Yvan Vuilleumier, and I have more than ten years of experience in dental care under anesthesia in a hospital setting. Many requests for care under anesthesia have been accepted by private insurance companies when the treatments were covered by the LAMal (Swiss health insurance law).

IMPLANTOLOGY:

Dr. Philippe Zimmerli and his team have placed more than two thousand dental implants to date. By following restrictive guidelines and applying strict therapeutic rules, we are able to achieve optimal success rates. We work exclusively with high-quality Straumann products, which are manufactured in our region.

Primary bone grafts and maxillary sinus lifts with simultaneous or delayed implantation are among the basic treatments performed at the practice.
