Guibert Piscicultures SA

We are a family business that has been operating nationwide since 1950. We breed and sell trout and char in various forms: live, gutted, and filleted. We distribute our various products throughout Switzerland.

Our fish are produced in Belp in the canton of Bern. Our fish farm is supplied with water from the Giesse River. Good water is essential for fish growth, and we respect the environment, as the image of our profession and of trout in particular depends on it.

Our packaging laboratory is located at our company's headquarters in Chamby, near Montreux. The fish processed there arrive alive from Belp and are stored in the ponds of our fish farms in Cornaux and Brent. These are supplied with water from various sources that emerge 200 meters away.

We guarantee impeccable quality and freshness because our fish are processed no more than 24 hours before delivery in our own refrigerated vehicles.

Production

We produce our rainbow trout in Belp and our fry come from Denmark. It is fed by a river that flows entirely through forest from its source. Probes continuously monitor and record oxygen levels and alert the fish farmer in case of a shortage.
