Patrice Schneiter is a versatile drummer whose musical styles range from blues, jazz, funk, soul, rock, reggae, samba, and salsa.

From 1990 to 1991, he studied music at the PIT (Musician Institute) in Los Angeles, where he obtained his certificate as a professional drummer. He studied with Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey, Casey Scheurell, David Gabartini, and others. He received a nomination for human relations.
In January 1992, he enrolled at Berklee College of Music in Boston to continue his musical studies. He obtained his Bachelor's degree with honors in Professional Music in 1996. He studied piano with Russ Hoffman and Mike Marra.
In 2003, he traveled to Cuba and studied with percussionist Tomaso Ortiz "Panga" (Afro-Cuban All Stars).
In 2005 and 2016, he participated in the Jazz Masterclass in Siena, Italy, where he studied with renowned Italian drummer Massimo Manzi, Fabrizio Sfera, Jeff Ballard, Justin Brown, and others.
In 2010, he traveled to Brazil and took percussion courses with various drummers and percussionists in Salvador de Bahia. In Rio de Janeiro, he met the famous percussionist Marco Suzano (Djavan), who taught him his method and technique for playing the pandeiro.
