Experience

Grünenwald-Nikles SA draws on both a family tradition and extensive experience in sheet metal work, carpentry, and roofing, including all related specialties. The company was founded in 2007, marking the merger of two specialist companies based in Cortébert and Saint-Imier. Convinced that unity is strength, Cédric Grünenwald and Alain Nikles joined forces, with headquarters in Cortébert and operations at two sites.

Carpentry and all work exclusively on wood is carried out in Saint-Imier, while tinsmithing and roofing are done in Cortébert.

The company employs around 15 people, including the three owners: Alain Nikles, Cédric Grünenwald, and Alain Grünenwald (founder of the company, which was established in Reconvilier in the late 1970s).

Specialists at your service

Our company attaches great importance to training. All our staff are trained in at least three areas: carpentry, sheet metal work and roofing.

Every winter, we also attend various continuing education and specialization courses. The use of products and machinery in both sheet metal work and carpentry requires regular updating of knowledge in order to offer the best service to our customers.

A committed company

We are very concerned about the health of the regional industrial and craft sector. Every year, our company takes on at least one apprentice. It is currently training four future professionals, two in carpentry and two in sheet metal work. We are proud of our excellent exam pass rate.
