Centre Neuchâtelois d'intégration professionnelle

Founded in 1994, the Neuchâtel Center for Professional Integration (CNIP) is an independent public institution specializing in adult vocational training and helping qualified and unqualified individuals reenter the workforce in industrial fields.

Its mission is to support people who need to diversify or upgrade their professional skills, undergo basic training in a new profession, or return to work.

To achieve its mission, the CNIP offers the following services:

• Observation/skills assessment, which allows for the recognition and enhancement of acquired skills (technical, social, and academic) and the establishment of a professional project.
• Modular and/or individualized training plans in industrial sectors.
• Industrial partnerships (industrial practice, company internships, with or without coaching).

The CNIP works closely with local industrial and institutional networks, whether in the context of internships, advanced training, or apprenticeships. Most of the modules offered at the CNIP are developed on an industrial basis. This approach to training involves very close relationships with partner companies.

The CNIP plays an essential social role for people who are professionally disadvantaged and in need of reintegration due to physical or mental health issues.

CNIP has more than 5,000 m2 of space to develop its training tools. The supervisory staff working in the structure is made up of specialists in training, industrial practices, socio-professional supervision, and administration.
