We offer professional tree care services—from consulting to planting and maintenance to felling. We also offer landscaping and garden maintenance, as well as courses, training, and the sale of tree-related materials. Consulting and inspections

We advise you on all aspects of trees in residential and settlement areas, from planting and maintenance to felling. Do you have questions about the safety of your tree or about diseases and pests? Then we are the right people to contact. We advise private individuals as well as federal, cantonal, and municipal authorities. An initial on-site inspection is non-binding and free of charge. Upon request, we will inspect your tree free of charge to assess its general condition and stability and provide recommendations for care.

Reports and expert opinions

We thoroughly inspect your tree on site. If necessary, we carry out root probing. We focus primarily on wood-decaying fungi, diseases, and pests, etc., and also assess the situation in terms of environmental influences.

We then prepare a comprehensive report, including photographic documentation, in which we assess the general condition, stability and breakage safety, as well as the life expectancy and the necessary care measures and care intervals. If, depending on the findings, the tree needs to be felled, we also make suggestions for replacement plantings.

We prepare written reports/expert opinions for construction projects in the vicinity of trees and highlight the tree protection measures associated with the construction project.

We also carry out value calculations in the event of total loss or damage assessments in the event of partial damage to trees. This is done using a special form in which the damage to the root, trunk, or crown area of a tree caused, for example, by a traffic accident is determined for the insurance company, or we calculate the value of a tree that has to be felled due to a construction project.

Our value calculations are also recognized in court.

Care concepts

Do you have a garden with a large number of trees or even a park with many trees? We would be happy to create a customized care plan for your trees. All trees are recorded in a table with their common and botanical names, size, condition, and the necessary care measures and costs. In addition, the trees are marked on a simple site plan and numbered. The cost breakdown with and without VAT shows the annual expenditure for the recommended measures, enabling accurate budgeting. The advantages of a care plan are that your trees are sustainably cared for and maintained, and safety around the trees is guaranteed. Care plans are particularly suitable for parks owned by the federal government, canton, or municipality, but also for private gardens with a large number of trees.

Crown pruning

We specialize in all types of crown pruning for young and old trees. Using the double rope technique, we carry out crown pruning efficiently and to a high standard. We take the customer's wishes into account as far as we can professionally. Tree preservation and safety requirements are the most common reasons for crown pruning. We distinguish between different types of pruning, such as training pruning, corrective pruning, structural pruning, crown maintenance, relief pruning, clearance pruning, and crown limitation pruning. The most important type of pruning is training pruning for young trees, which is unfortunately often overlooked. Old trees are maintained using climbing techniques on ropes, often at dizzying heights. In rare cases, lifting platforms are also used for crown pruning.

For fruit trees and orchards, the focus is always on fruit yield. Accordingly, yield pruning/fruit pruning is used for these trees. We also specialize in this area.

We also carry out topiary pruning, e.g., columnar, weeping, or umbrella shapes, whereby the trees are trained into a specific shape and maintained in that shape. Tools such as bamboo sticks are used for this purpose. Our team has the necessary expertise and experience that such topiary pruning requires.

Ivy on trees is not generally a problem. Nevertheless, there are many reasons why ivy must be removed from trees. When ivy grows on trees, it is not possible to inspect the tree thoroughly. If the ivy grows up into the crown, it competes for light and increases the surface area exposed to wind and snow. It can also strangle thinner branches. Ivy growth on trees must always be thoroughly assessed. Excessive growth on the tree must be prevented. A lot of experience is needed to deal with ivy on trees. We have the necessary expertise.

We also remove mistletoe from trees because, as a semi-parasite, it deprives the tree of water and nutrients.

We professionally remove foreign growth on trees such as elderberry, birch, etc. This also applies to ingrown objects such as gutters. However, this work requires a great deal of expertise.

Of course, we also ensure that the danger zones are cordoned off during the cutting work and that the cuttings are disposed of. We have the necessary equipment to dispose of the cuttings efficiently.

Sales

We also sell material that is produced as part of our work. We sell firewood in various qualities. We offer hardwood and softwood, either in 1 m logs or sawn into 33 cm pieces. We are also happy to deliver the wood to your home. Dates and costs on request.

We specialize in tree care, but we are also the right people to contact for all your gardening needs. We carry out all types of garden work. We mow your lawn, renovate your turf, and take the necessary measures to ensure that your lawn thrives. We trim your hedges and rejuvenate your berry and ornamental shrubs. We also professionally prune roses and build climbing frames for trellises, vines, and climbing roses.
