Entreprise du Gaz SA was founded in 1904. Originally, the company had two areas of activity: the production and distribution of town gas, and the management and administration of the Porrentruy municipal water service.

After two successive world wars, the board of directors at the time decided to diversify the company's activities by creating three distinct departments: heating installations, sanitary installations, and water service management.

Today, Entreprise du Gaz SA has around 62 employees, all of whom have received solid training. Whether it's basic training, where we offer apprenticeships in sanitary installation, heating installation, building technology design, and commercial employment, or continuing education for staff who want to further their knowledge, we offer the opportunity to take advanced courses leading to federal certificates, federal master's degrees, or specialized engineering degrees.

The management has always placed its customers and employees at the center of its concerns, because it is thanks to the continued trust of its large and diverse customer base, as well as the ongoing commitment of its staff, that the company has experienced continuous, positive, and thoughtful growth, with proven success, making it the largest building services engineering company in the Jura region today.

With a view to continuing the development of its activities and providing the best possible service to its valued customers, a branch was opened in the town of Delémont on January 1, 2016.
