SPITEX THARAD

Care and support at home

Competent care from healthcare professionals and domestic helpers in your own home. Based on this principle, Spitex THARAD is available to you in the municipalities of Derendingen, Deitingen, and Luterbach as a competent partner for care and support at home. The range of our services and support options is as individual as you are as a Spitex customer. Basic care, treatment care, palliative care, the Spitex 24-hour emergency call service, domestic support, and, of course, the popular meal service are just some of the services we offer. Formerly known as Spitex Regio, it is now Spitex THARAD and remains embedded in the structures of Spitex Canton Solothurn and Spitex Switzerland, the national market leader in the field of non-hospital nursing and care services. ASSISTED LIVING

THARAD looks to the future

When the regional health organization THARAD was founded, it also set itself the goal of creating assisted living services. These are forms of housing that are specially tailored to the needs of the elderly. Barrier-free living space, good and close connections to public infrastructure, and, of course, on-call care services are key features. The services are defined individually according to the current needs of the residents and, if necessary, adapted at any time, based on the principle that whatever is no longer possible is taken care of by the THARAD team.

Safety is a central element of assisted living. Residents spend their daily lives in their own spacious apartments and also have access to the safety standards of a nursing ward. One click on the wristwatch or the button next to the toilet and our trained nursing staff will arrive on site within minutes to provide first aid.

A major problem for older people is loneliness. Visits from peers become less frequent, and even working children and grandchildren often do not have enough time to care for their relatives. Assisted living therefore offers social activities and leisure pursuits that enable residents to network with each other and build friendships. Joint game afternoons, exercise classes, and concert visits form the basis for this and are the foundation for the development of social networks and friendships. THARAD is currently working on offers in this direction. We will keep you up to date.
