Health Care

We offer health services for the following stages of life:

• Puppies/kittens Purchase

• Youth health check including vaccination

• Puberty check for questions about neutering

• Annual check-up including vaccinations and parasite prevention

• Dental check for problems relating to the mouth

• Senior check-up including laboratory analyses and further investigations for healthy aging

• Behavioral check for questions about problems such as anxiety, behavioral disorders, or other abnormalities

• Nutrition check for questions about nutrition, including raw feeding, etc.

Internal medicine and dermatology

• Clinical examination including basic medical care

• Complex investigations such as Cushing's, hypo- or hyperthyroidism, diabetes, etc.

• Inpatient treatment and care with infusion pumps and oxygen supply

• Emergency medicine

• Ophthalmology (fluorescein test, eye pressure measurements with TONOVET)

• Ultrasound examinations of the abdomen to diagnose bladder infections, pancreatitis, tumors, etc.

• Dermatological examinations for parasites and allergies, including allergy tests and desensitization

Surgery and anesthesia

• Surgical procedures on all soft tissues (castrations, tumor resections, foreign body removal, stomach twists, etc.)

• Anesthesia using gentle inhalation anesthesia with isoflurane and oxygen

• Anesthesia monitoring and documentation by a certified veterinary assistant with specialized training in anesthesia

Diagnostics

• In-house laboratory for blood and urine tests, enabling laboratory analyses and targeted treatments to be carried out on the same day

• More complex laboratory analyses are sent to an external laboratory by courier service

• X-rays with modern digital development

• Ultrasound examination of awake animals for all organs and also for pregnancy examinations

Gynecology and breeding

• Preventive examinations (X-ray/genetic testing) for breeding approval (such as HD, ED, etc.)

• Determination of the optimal mating time with hormone testing and cytology

• Breeder support including documentation from mating to whelping or sale

• Artificial insemination in bitches, including semen collection from the male dog

• Obstetrics, including cesarean section if necessary

• Genetic testing to rule out hereditary diseases or to determine coat color and pedigree

Dentistry

• Teeth cleaning with tartar removal device, including polishing

• Tooth extractions, including row extractions in cats if necessary

• Removal of epulis and warts in the mouth with SURGITRON

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a manual therapy for the examination and treatment of joints with reduced mobility (especially in the spine) and pain of mechanical origin. Chiropractic treatment affects the nervous and muscular systems and can be used in the following situations:

• Chronic disorders of the musculoskeletal system

• Acute tension and stiffness

• Maintaining mobility in older animals

• Maintaining performance in sporting animals

Animal chiropractic does not replace basic conventional medical care, but is integrated into it.

Chiropractic can also have a positive effect on various medical problems. Examples include:

• Our own veterinary shop with a wide range of high-quality food for dogs and cats is located directly in the AM BLAUEN Animal Health Center practice, with a separate entrance and parking lot. The range includes well-known brands (Hill's, Royal Canin) in all package sizes for young and old, small and large pets, as well as pet accessories such as toys, bones, leashes, cat baskets, blankets, etc. With this service, we are responding to the wishes of numerous customers for competent nutritional advice and optimal service from a single source.

• Electronic transponder tagging with chip and registration (as a cat-friendly clinic, we support cat microchipping so that as many cats as possible can be identified; ask about our special offer)
