Chinese medicine practice in Dübendorf
Welcome to the Sinocare Traditional Chinese Medicine Practice in Dübendorf
The practice opened in 2007 at Marktgasse 7 (near Migros) in Dübendorf. The treatment methods used in Chinese medicine are very diverse. We mainly work with acupuncture, tuina massage, and herbal therapies. In addition to these three methods, cupping, kinesio taping, Chinese nutritional science, and simple qigong exercises can also be very effective.
The practice name "Sinocare"is composed of two parts: sino and care. Sino, derived from sinology, stands for "Chinese studies, " and care means, among other things, to worry about, look after, and nurture.
The team consists of qualified, recognized, and licensed therapists who have completed their studies in Switzerland or China.

Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is the oldest coherent medical system. In the Chinese understanding of human beings, body, mind, and soul form a unity that is part of the universe. These insights have led to the development of sophisticated techniques for the prevention and treatment of diseases. Knowledge of these interrelationships leads to an understanding of healing and therapy that does not cure diseases based on symptoms, but rather recognizes and treats the causes. In addition, several diseases can be treated together, as different symptoms are often related.
The traditional Chinese medicine therapist strives to maintain or restore the body's balance.

Acupuncture is a form of treatment in which very thin needles are inserted into acupuncture points located along the meridians. It is used to heal internal organs and eliminate painful or chronic symptoms in the joints, muscles, bones, and skin.
Painless acupuncture without punctures using the 3B laser
The proven and gentle treatment method for children and adults.
Laser treatment with the 3B Laser Needle – how does it work?
Laser Needle Therapy uses "gentle" laser beams. In this context, it is also referred to as soft laser therapy or low-level laser therapy. Laser Needle treatments are practically imperceptible and yet highly effective. They should not be confused with surgical lasers, which, in contrast, have an ablative or destructive effect.
The laser beams travel from the laser diode (where the laser light is generated) via fiber optic cables to the so-called laser needles. These are not inserted into the skin, but are attached to the skin using applicators. From there, the laser beams penetrate several centimeters into the tissue to be treated without causing any pain.
The gentle laser beams specifically ensure that tissue can regenerate, inflammation is reduced, and blood circulation is increased. In addition, pain-relieving messenger substances can be activated, among other things.
The laser beams of the 3B Laser Needle device used are safe when used as intended. For your own safety, however, laser safety goggles should always be worn.
The Chinese are said to have usedChinese medicines made from plants and minerals to treat illnesses as early as 4000 BC. Over the centuries, the use of these substances has been refined and further developed. Their effectiveness has been established over thousands of years through practical and clinical experience. Today, the effectiveness of these herbal medicines is being researched in laboratories and research centers in both the East and the West. Approximately 2,000 of the 5,000 different types of herbs are used for medicinal purposes. It is one of the most important forms of treatment in China.
Tuina is a Chinese form of massage and the oldest existing healing method. Tuina therapy, performed by doctors, developed from this form of massage. It primarily uses special hand techniques such as pushing, stroking, pressing, rubbing, tapping, or clapping. Unlike the medical massage we are familiar with, Tuina massage is usually performed through a thin linen cloth.
Moxibustion is an ancient healing method from traditional Chinese medicine in which burning mugwort is applied directly or indirectly to the body. This mobilizes certain self-healing powers.
In cupping , acupuncture points are stimulated with cupping glasses. Heat is used to create a vacuum inside the glass. The glass is then placed on the skin.
Chinese dietetics (nutrition) is also considered medicine in China and is closely linked to traditional Chinese medicine. It is tailored to the individual patient. What is beneficial for one patient may be harmful to another. Nutritional plans for preventive health care and therapy are drawn up so that the overall treatment can be more effective.
