Schweizer Eiken AG

From small appliances for the home, forestry, and garden to agricultural and construction machinery and a large spare parts warehouse, Schweizer-Eiken AG offers everything from a single source. The family-owned company is also an official John Deere dealer, selling the full range of products from lawn mowers to combine harvesters.

The agricultural machinery center in Eiken employs 12 people, including two apprentices who are training to become agricultural machinery mechanics. In addition to the John Deere brand, which it has represented since 1965, Schweizer-Eiken AG offers many other brands. A complete service program is available for everything that is sold. The company was founded in 1910 by Ernst Schweizer-Dreyer. In 1945, Walter Schweizer-Hofmann took over the forge, before Hermann Schweizer took over the reins in 1965. In 2002, the sole proprietorship became a public limited company. In 2000, Michael Schweizer joined the family business as a representative of the fourth generation. In 2011, he took over the management together with
Daniel Hochreuter. Hermann Schweizer remained with the company for special tasks.
