The Import Optik Group Switzerland was founded in 1999 by the Bartlomé family as a Swiss family business.

On August 13, 1999, Import Optik opened its first store in Sissach, Baselland. Since then, the company has grown steadily and now has ten stores.

With the opening of the first Import Akustik specialist store on April 16, 2016, within the premises of Import Optik Einsiedeln, we are now setting another milestone in our company history.
