Une très bonne table!
Les viandes sont de grandes qualités gustatives, très bon accueil et service. Belle présentation. Une grande table où il vaut la peine de s’attarder!!

"Don't let anyone convince you that your dreams are too big."
Even as a child, Georges Ruffieux had big ideas. He would say, "When I grow up, I'm going to have a restaurant"... No one believed him!
"If you don't pursue what you want, you'll never get it."
In 1973, Georges and Nelly Ruffieux took over the Auberge de l'Enfant du Bon Chœur in Pont-la-Ville. They ran the establishment for four years. In 1977, they had the opportunity to become owners and moved to La Croix-Blanche in Epagny.
"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."
Over the years, they built up a strong reputation and continued to improve the establishment, renovating it several times. Even though, according to Georges, it was located "in the slums of the county town," it nonetheless became their little kingdom.
"Ideas belong to those who realize them."
It was during a trip to Madeira with their children that the couple, always interested in new ideas, discovered the "pierrades" system in a local restaurant. As soon as they returned, the concept, slightly modified and adapted, was launched at La Croix-Blanche. It was an immediate success!
"Men make their own history, even if they don't know the history they are making."
In September 2008, far too soon, Georges Ruffieux left this world. He left a huge void, but through his restaurant, he left a little memory for everyone.

Nelly Ruffieux continues their work. Full of courage, she steers the ship with great skill and motivation, supported by a loyal team.
"Dare to dream. Dare to try. Dare to make mistakes. Dare to succeed. Go ahead, I challenge you."
In July 2013, Carine, the daughter, took up the torch. Continuing the tradition but with new ideas, she has perpetuated the Ruffieux family's 37-year presence at the Croix-Blanche in Epagny.

The new owner has always been very close to her family and can always count on them and her entire team to support her in her daily work.
