The Dösselen Senior Citizens' Center is picturesquely located on the sunny southern slope of Eschenbach in Lucerne and offers 62 elderly residents a loving home. Just a short walk from the village center, our home is ideally located and offers a place of peace and relaxation with its light-flooded rooms and idyllic surrounding park.

Care and support with heart and expertise

Our facility spans three residential floors, where our dedicated and expert team cares for and supports our residents with great passion. Individualized and professional care is our top priority. For people with dementia, we offer a protected residential group that creates a safe and respectful environment characterized by security and dignity.

Zielacher Residence – Age-appropriate living with comfort

Right next to the senior center is the Zielacher Residence, which comprises 17 age-appropriate apartments. This residence allows residents to maintain their independence while having access to the extensive services of the Dösselen Senior Center. These services include a meal service, a hairdresser, and an emergency button, which make everyday life more comfortable and safer.

Meal service – fresh and delicious every day

Our meal service offers seniors in Eschenbach who still live at home a warm, nutritious lunch menu every day. The menu consists of soup, salad, a main course, and dessert, and is freshly prepared in our kitchen every day. Volunteer drivers deliver the meals directly to your home 365 days a year. For special dietary needs, we also offer diabetic, light, and pureed meals.

Activities and daily routine

At the Dösselen Senior Center, we attach great importance to a varied and meaningful daily routine. Under the LeA principle (LEbensbegleitung im Alter, or life coaching in old age), we offer a wide range of activities aimed at promoting the independence and personal responsibility of our residents. Activities such as gymnastics, memory training, biographical work, cooking, and gardening are designed to bring joy and improve quality of life. Biographical work is an essential part of our activities, as it helps to integrate the individual life stories and preferences of our residents into everyday life.

Cafeteria – the meeting place for community and enjoyment

Our cafeteria is a cozy meeting place for residents, visitors, and employees. Here you can relax with a wide range of beverages and small snacks. In the warm season, the terrace with direct access to the park invites you to linger. Relatives and residents have the opportunity to enjoy lunch together and celebrate special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries in our cafeteria.

Financial support and advice

Financing a stay in a nursing home can be complex, but we are here to help and advise you. Our invoices for accommodation and care are issued monthly in arrears. If your personal financial resources are insufficient, there are various support options available. We will be happy to inform you about the financial assistance available and help you with the application process.
