Voyages Jean-Louis SA

History

Founded in 1972 by Mr. Jean-Louis Chardonnens and his wife Christiane, Voyages Jean-Louis has acquired extensive experience in the travel industry over the years. Little by little, they have developed this sector by offering their customers beach vacations, family outings, school transportation, and turnkey services for companies and other groups in Switzerland and throughout Europe. Now run by their son Jean-Daniel and his wife Fabienne, Voyages Jean-Louis has grown considerably over the years to become one of the leading players in the industry in French-speaking Switzerland.

Takeover of Novabus

In 2008, our company reached a new milestone with the acquisition of Novabus, then based in Ste-Croix (VD). On April 1, 2008, we inaugurated our new office in Yverdon-les-Bains and expanded our fleet, which currently includes around fifteen vehicles with 8 to 80 seats. With this merger, we have exceeded the milestone of 17,000 customers throughout French-speaking Switzerland and beyond!

Merger with Autocars Robert Fischer SA

This growth continues, as on April 1, 2013, Robert Fischer SA in Marin (NE) also joined our group. We would like to take this opportunity to warmly thank Mr. and Mrs. Fischer for the trust they have placed in our company and for allowing us to continue their business throughout French-speaking Switzerland. With this merger, we also wish to position ourselves throughout the canton of Neuchâtel, and to do so, we will be renewing our fleet of coaches to achieve the quality and comfort that are currently our strength.
