At the age of 18, with his first wages as an apprentice cabinetmaker, he bought and restored his first cabinet—an antique that he still owns today. Electrified by his choice of restorations, Olivier Kilchoer has been restoring furniture from the 17th to the 21st century and from all over the world for more than 25 years. From regional furniture with its famous Fribourg cabinets to the clean lines of Danish sideboards. Experienced and daring, he combines traditional techniques with innovative solutions to restore furniture to its former glory. Sharing and meeting with his clients and restoration enthusiasts completes his joy of working on pieces that are often out of the ordinary.
