The immense wave of sympathy that Jean Tinguely had inspired among the population at the end of his life prompted his wife Niki de Saint Phalle to donate some of the monumental works created during this period to the State of Fribourg.
In addition to the works on permanent display, the Espace regularly hosts temporary exhibitions. Visitors can discover Swiss and foreign artists whose works demonstrate a fruitful dialogue with the work of Jean Tinguely or Niki de Saint Phalle.
