Since its renovation in 1998, the La Terrassière nursing home has been equipped with more modern facilities that comply with state architectural guidelines.

The establishment has 90 single rooms with en-suite bathrooms.

On the 8th floor, a large terrace overlooks the Eaux-Vives district. From there, Geneva, its rooftops, its water jet, its cathedral, and the magnificent panorama between Salève and Jura offer a different view depending on the weather!

Tenderness, attentiveness, respect, autonomy and independence, care, entertainment, encounters, and emotion. It is by giving full meaning to each of these words that the residents of La Terrassière and their loved ones who place their trust in us can enjoy life to the fullest.

In a warm atmosphere, our activities team focuses on bringing out the personality of each resident and encouraging them to remain in control of their quality of life.

The activity leaders offer a constant stream of activities based on a variety of media, taking into account individual and/or collective wishes and interests.

Regular outings that promote social interaction are also organized. The weekly activities program is given to residents on Fridays for the following week.

With the aim of providing relational support and special assistance to residents, volunteers commit their time and services.
