A place for everyone!
Public institutions for integration (EPI) contribute to the social and/or professional integration of people with disabilities and/or those experiencing difficulties in finding employment and/or integrating into society.
EPIs welcome and accommodate people with disabilities in day centers and residences, with qualified professional support. They ensure the well-being and fulfillment of residents, aim to develop or maintain their skills, and promote their independence.
EPIs offer paid jobs, with employment contracts, in adapted workshops.
These workshops employ both people with disabilities and socially vulnerable people residing in Switzerland. They offer the opportunity to practice several types of jobs in various fields. They primarily welcome people covered by disability insurance, but also people who have difficulty integrating into society.
EPIs develop assessment and rehabilitation measures, training, and apprenticeships for people with health problems, who are long-term unemployed, or who are socially excluded, with the aim of helping them to enter or re-enter the world of work.
EPIs raise awareness in society of the importance of integrating people with disabilities, those experiencing difficulties entering the labor market, or those with health issues, by carrying out exemplary actions and communicating them.
