In physiotherapy, we distinguish between passive and active treatment techniques. Physiolife is recognized by health insurance companies (basic insurance & supplementary insurance).
A general goal of passive techniques is to release blocked joints, tense muscles, and connective tissue, as well as "stuck" passive structures and nerves. This release alleviates the patient's initial acute pain.
With active therapeutic techniques, we instruct and teach patients in physiotherapy how to regain or stabilize their lost strength, stability, coordination, and balance with a personalized training program.
Rehabilitation after accidents/surgery
At the PhysioLife practice, you will also be treated after an accident or surgery. Physiotherapy techniques and customized exercises have a positive effect on the healing process and optimize muscle strength, balance, and coordination. I am happy to support you in your personal rehabilitation program so that you can soon be "functional" again, whether at work, in sports, or in everyday life.
Pelvic floor rehabilitation in gynecology, urology, and gastroenterology (pelvic floor therapy)
This particular specialization in the fields of gynecology, urology, and gastroenterology in physiotherapy includes all forms of pelvic muscles and abdominal organs. Bladder therapy
Weakness, hyperactivity, or imbalance of the pelvic floor or pelvic nervous system can be caused by various factors at any age: pregnancy, tumors, prostate problems, neo-bladder, multiple sclerosis, overactive bladder syndrome, bedwetting, fecal or urinary incontinence, constipation, pelvic pain, and much more.
Personalized physical therapy can help you with gynecological, urological, and gastroenterological problems by correcting imbalances or alleviating pain. This rehabilitation requires the support of passive and active physical therapy techniques, electrostimulation, and specific biofeedback with a probe.
Trigger point treatment
Manual techniques, as well as techniques using trigger point treatment aids, relieve painful areas in the muscle. Trigger points can cause pain to radiate to the head, arms, or legs. Releasing the source point relieves pain and radiating pain.
Taping
There are various methods of applying tape. The most commonly applied tape stabilizes the joint while maintaining its function. Muscle tape can be applied after a massage treatment to prevent muscle tone from increasing again.nbsp;Lymph tape supports the lymphatic system after lymphatic drainage. The fourth way to apply tape is to relieve pain in the tissue: fascia tape.
The tape is made of cotton and an adhesive, which makes it well tolerated by most people and usually has no contraindications.
Massages
Massage promotes general well-being and can relieve tension. Regular massage of the entire musculature and connective tissue also serves as a preventive measure against tension, pain, and radiating pain.
The shoulder and neck area is probably the most tense area of the body in humans. On the one hand, this is due to posture and, on the other hand, to repetitive movements at work or in everyday life.
A classic massage relieves this unpleasant, pain-inducing tension.
