The beginning with a flower hall and nursery

1931 marked the start of what is now Schneider AG. Arthur and Lea Schneider-Wälti opened the flower hall on Centralstrasse and the nursery on Schützengasse at the same time. With great ambition and self-confidence, they dared to start a business.

In the early years, the cold frame area gradually grew into a nursery with greenhouses and workrooms.
