In addition to three fully equipped 3D excavator control systems, we now also have a 3D-controlled grading blade (alongside our tried-and-tested laser control system).

Thanks to the new 3D control system, we are able to carry out all grading work with millimeter precision.

Thanks to modern GPS systems, we can process the 3D plans ourselves using georeferenced DXF files or a list of coordinates with elevation data. Setting out work with the help of GPS poles is also part of our daily routine today.

We are also happy to measure laid cables for our customers so that their location can be determined again.

Widmer Traxbetrieb AG has always been a family business. The company's primary goal is to have a healthy structure and not to satisfy shareholders, in order to provide as secure jobs as possible.

Since its foundation in 1979, the company has been run by the second generation. Widmer Traxbetrieb AG is a regional civil engineering company that specializes in various types of work (development, excavation, paving, sewer and utility line construction, demolition).

As we operate regionally, we often work with the same architects, engineers, and municipalities. Our approximately 20 employees always do their utmost to meet the specifications of the construction management and the client.

Our work includes completely new access roads with all associated pipes (sewage pipes, storm water pipes, protective pipes for electricity, telephone, TV, and drinking water pipes). We also carry out all road surfacing, box culvert work, edge finishes, and paving work.

We carry out all types of excavation work. We have state-of-the-art technology at our disposal, such as GPS controls on our machines and various GPS poles. We also have various attachments for our excavators for demolition work, such as demolition hammers, concrete cutters, and sorting tongs. We take recyclable materials to an appropriate location so that they can be reused. It is important to us to have as little impact on the environment as possible.

Excavation

We mainly carry out excavation work and have excavators and tractors with a total weight of 1.50–30 tons. We now have three fully equipped excavators with 3D control.

Foundation excavation

Thanks to GPS systems and GPS excavator control, we are able to design the electronic excavation plan in such a way that we can independently excavate foundations, lift pits, excavation depressions, etc. without a batter board.

Surfaces / Roads / Squares

We are happy to rebuild or renovate your forecourt or driveway, whether with interlocking paving stones, paving, or marl.

Demolition

With our construction machines, 1.50–30 tons, we are able to carry out smaller demolition work inside buildings as well as larger demolition work. We have various attachments such as demolition hammers, concrete cutters, and sorting grapples, which can also be attached to pneumatic excavators and excavators with rubber tracks.

Sewerage/drainage

Our field of activity also includes the renovation of pipes and the construction of new, larger sewers.

Development

We are also able to develop new construction sites with our construction machinery and skilled workers.

3D machine control

For larger, more complex excavations, including the excavation of foundations, elevator pits, and slopes, we are able to convert the entire excavation plan into a 3D model, completely eliminating the need for measuring and insurance work. Using the coordinate list, we are able to mark the points precisely with the measuring rod. The embankment, excavation height, and depth of the foundations are also always visible to the construction machine operator (see video).

Stream reinforcement/renaturation

Back to nature: removing concrete blocks, transporting them through the water, exposing embedded streams, and enlarging the cross-section of small waterways with existing reinforcement measures, living reinforcement, or hard reinforcement are also part of our activities.

Leveling work

In addition to the proven laser control system, we now also have 3D control for the grading blade. With our grading blade, we are able to create a larger area with minimal effort and mm precision, e.g.

• Grading for surfaces
• Riding arenas
• Larger areas for greenhouses
• Installation of lean concrete under buildings.

Forest paths / field paths

We also construct or renovate forest and farm tracks with cross slopes and roof slopes.

Retention measures

We create various retention measures according to specifications, such as retention measures (tanks, storage channels) or topsoil passages. We are sure to have the right solution for your needs.

Landscaping

With our large fleet of machinery, we are able to carry out smaller and more extensive landscaping work, whether for alterations or new buildings.

Water pipes

We install water pipes for you, from private house connections to
municipal pipes to regional main pipes.

Special

We are also happy to help you with projects that are out of the ordinary.
