Stöckl + Eggimann Storen GmbH celebrated its 10th anniversary this August. "In order to celebrate such anniversaries, we need the trust of many, many customers, architects, and administrators, as well as reliable products from manufacturers," says Sarah Stöckl. "And for that, we are very grateful."

"How quickly time flies," say the two managing directors, Michael Stöckl and David Eggimann. Between them, they can now look back on around 40 years of professional experience in the awning industry.

The employees
The company currently has four employees. Michael Stöckl and David Eggimann run the business together. Both are responsible for consulting, sales, installation, and repairs. Sarah Stöckl-Eggimann, a trained businesswoman, handles some of the office work on a part-time basis. Blinds installer Andreas Sommer has been a valuable addition to the team since 2007.

Small company as an advantage
As Stöckl + Eggimann Storen GmbH is a small company, customers usually have the same contact person, or at most two, from the initial consultation to the completion of the order. This is a major advantage, emphasizes Michael Stöckl, pointing out how flexibly the small team works. "If there is an urgent need somewhere, we are also available in the evenings and on weekends."

Stöckl + Eggimann Storen GmbH works for private customers as well as architecture and real estate companies. The company is not tied to any one supplier. "We can always offer our customers the best quality and most suitable product on the market," says David Eggimann. This means that the Storen team has access to a very diverse range of products. Slatted blinds, roller shutters, awnings, Venetian blinds, insect screens, and light well covers are only installed in the best quality available on the market.

Protection from all weather conditions
Stöckl + Eggimann Storen GmbH can supply and install everything customers need to protect themselves from the weather. This includes not only the usual products such as blinds and shutters, but also folding tents and interior shading products, among other things.

Glazed patio awnings are very much in vogue
Shaded glass roof systems are very popular. The company has also been able to gain a foothold in this area over the last two years. "Once all the technical hurdles and preparations have been overcome, such a system is a gem that offers customers year-round protection from rain, snow, and the scorching sun," emphasizes David Eggimann. Michael Stöckl laughs and says, "With products like these, we truly bring our customers the holiday island right to their homes, as our web name already suggests."

Insect screens remain a big seller these days
What was once mainly seen in America and Australia is now a matter of course in many places here too. Insect screens are available in many different variations. Not only the operation (roller blind, tension frame, sliding door, swing door, etc.) but also the type of fabric leaves nothing to be desired today. In addition to standard fabrics, special pollen protection or transparent fabrics are also very popular. Once you have these screens in your home, you will not want to do without the improved quality of life they provide.

And the future?
"We are simply looking forward to celebrating again in 10 years. After all, something like this is always associated with a little pride in what we have achieved," says Sarah Stöckl. We are delighted that we can continue to be there for our customers.
