As an energy service provider and public-law company, EWO supplies its customers with sustainable electricity. However, we also see ourselves as a competent service provider, innovative partner, responsible employer, and driver of regional development.

Our core competencies

• Production and distribution of electricity and heat from renewable energy sources
• Energy services such as energy consulting, photovoltaic contracting, etc.
• Data networks for internet access

We support our customers as a competent partner in all matters relating to the efficient use of energy, from product consulting and the electricity grid to maintenance services. Our wholly owned subsidiary EWO Gebäudetechnik AG also offers a wide range of building technology services.

EWO is owned by the canton of Obwalden and its seven municipalities. We employ around 100 people and, together with EWO FUTURE, train a total of 21 apprentices.
