FCM Bell Engineering AG

FCM Bell Engineering AG was formed from the former Bell Maschinenfabrik AG in Kriens/Lucerne. BELL was founded in 1855 and was known worldwide for manufacturing water turbines, bridges, cranes, funicular railways, and cable cars. The long-established company had been producing fiber cement machines and systems since 1915, liquid ring vacuum pumps since 1948, and large presses for fiber cement since 1960. The high-quality equipment and components were exported all over the world.

• In 1959, BELL was acquired by the Escher-Wyss Group.
• In 1967, BELL and Escher-Wyss were acquired by the Sulzer Group.
• In 1967, BELL and Escher-Wyss were acquired by the Sulzer Group

In February 1996, the fiber cement machinery division of JM Voith AG, A-3100 St. Pölten (Austria) was taken over. The company in Kriens then changed its name to Voith Bell Process Eng. AG.

On December 31, 1999, the division was spun off from the Voith Group and transferred to the new company FCM Bell Engineering AG, based in Kriens, on January 1, 2000. The company's premises are located in the former buildings of Bell Maschinenfabrik AG in Kriens.

After the company was founded, several complete fiber cement plants were successfully implemented worldwide.

Since the beginning of 2016, we have withdrawn as a supplier of complete plants and focused on the following products:
